We breed and sell Wiltshire Horn sheep
Wiltshire Horn sheep are ideal for the small farm. We use them on the Parkside Estate to keep the grass down naturally between our trees, grapes and olives as well as along the laneways around the property.
The breed is strong and resilient. They graze on both grass and broadleaf which means they do well on both rich or poor pasture - ideal in this current drought.
Natural shedding of their wool eliminates the need for both shearing and crutching.
People purchase our Wiltshire sheep because they are low maintenance, but also because
they produce lean meat with excellent taste
and texture.
The low level of animal husbandry means they are also idea for organic farms / enterprises.
We will sell sheep individually or in multiples.
